BMMA Announces Winners of 2017 Best in Class Marketing Awards

The Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA) recently announced the winners of the 2017 Best in Class Marketing awards.

“Each year the BMMA recognizes teams and companies that demonstrate innovation and excellence in marketing broadband services,’’ said Ellis Hill, President of ResearchFirst, Inc., the BMMA’s management firm. “This year’s awards went to a service provider, TELUS, and a vendor company, Zyxel, each of which executed best in class marketing practices related to broadband products and services.”

The winners are:

1. TELUS ( “Future Home”

TELUS is a national telecommunications company that provides phone, television, wireless and internet services to Western Canada.

The TELUS “Future Home” marketing campaign was used to engage residents in fibre communities to demonstrate the power of broadband and what kind of lifestyle transformations it could enable in the future. The campaign brought the experience to home & garden shows, community events, parking lots of big box stores, and TELUS dealers, demonstrating how fibre is a transformational technology investment in communities, homes, and businesses. For the campaign, customer sentiment was overwhelmingly positive with 35 communities visited; 80,000 customer visits; 20 million media impressions and over 4,000 sales.

According to TELUS, “The recognition of ‘Future Home powered by TELUS PureFibre’ as a Best in Class marketing initiative by BMMA is a great honour. TELUS values the partnership with BMMA for continued industry insight, market trends and collaboration across stakeholders in North America.”
